Taking into account the case study analyzed in Entry 18, the following table and figure respectively describe and represent the emergent strategic process according to Mintzberg when the protagonists are individual participants or groups of people from any part of the organization (‘bottom-up’ emergent process), who interact, so that over time an incipient pattern of behavior is formed in this stream of actions (incipient emergent strategy), which eventually becomes a realized strategy when it is detected and incorporated into the deliberate strategic process by top management.
