This course is aimed at anyone interested in this subject, who wishes to learn how strategies are really formed in any field of human activity (business, politics, military, sports, or even at a personal level).

The objective of this course is to provide the student with a broad and clear vision of how strategies are formed in companies.

– Introduction and justification.

– Concept and types of business strategy.

– Concept of strategic process of the company.

– Different forms or typologies that can present the process of strategy formation in a company: theory and case studies.

– Aspects that can influence the strategic process of the company.

– Procedure to follow and general recommendations to take into account in order to define, establish and promote the most appropriate strategic processes for a company.

The contents described above will be addressed with the help of the following methodologies:

– 12 video lessons.

– A reference textbook (English translation of the reference book: “El proceso estratégico de la empresa: Teoría y casos de estudio” (Roch, 2022)).

– Several scheduled tutorials during the development of the course and, in addition, additional tutorials as necessary to resolve any doubts that may arise throughout the course.

– A tutorial within a year after the course has concluded, in order to resolve any doubts that may arise later on.

Between two weeks and one month, depending on the personal involvement of the student.

At the end of the course, the student may choose to complement this training with a case study of his or her entrepreneurial or business activity. In this way, they will be able to apply the new knowledge they have acquired in the specific case of their entrepreneurial activity or company.
